interesting never thought of the black idea.......The more I sit and watch TV the more i want to do something with it.....so painting is the way to go now the color....the black or the blue....will have to try and paint a corner to see which will look better....

The way I see it, if you paint them the colour of your walls then it will look like you have no speakers. If you paint them black, they will match your TV and stand. They will all balance each other out.

they have a fabric liner inside the metal cover to prevent vibration....would have to remove that liner then re-apply it once the paint was dry....

yep very sturdy thin steel..........thinking of using thin finishing nails that have a flat head on top to keep them standing straight.....
