Default What's the difference between Steelbooks and Ironpacks?

Any real difference? I can't tell. Then again I'm not big on steelbooks yet to know the difference.

Hey JW,

Other than the allignment issue, which I assume is a manfacturer error, I can't tell the difference between them? Can you elaborate?

no its not an error, its how they are made. Looks like a guy with tin snips cut that

They are heavier and dent/paint chip much easier from my experience.

The only other thing I see from that pic is that The Terminator one appears slightly thicker.

Yes, because it's an ironpack.

Summary:
Steelbook spines look like they have a plastic frame around the spine artwork
IronPack spines do not.

Easiest way to tell without having to buy it.

Awesome scale (1 being the most awesome and 8 being the least awesome)

1. SteelBook
2. IronPack
3. Tin
4. DigiBook
5. DigiPack
6. MetalPack
7. Imitation steelbook (see the last page of the T2 korean release to see what I mean)
8. Amaray

Iron Packs suck ass.
I'm hoping Disney revert to Steels for Incredibles or at least somewhere in the world gets the option of a Steel.
No way I'm getting a useless crapfest of low quality. (Wasted enough money already on freaking TS3 which doesn't even have the movie)

edited out but it is true, I'm sure they can produce higher quality ones if they try harder.
