I don't mind the rating logos at all, but why get the imports if we know the US version is coming? Doesn't make much sense. Only thing now that will get me to import is if the US version ends up being a really crappy transfer.

I just saw a preview for this with some other movies on the Machete Blu, anyone else notice this? Does this mean it will be released soon??

Fox keeps teasing us with putting the cover in Blu-Ray ads.

I have a feeling that they're working on it. Who knows...maybe they're doing a complete remaster of it and it'll be a better transfer than the UK one? Maybe Fox got the actors and Alex Aja to do new commentaries for the Blu-Ray?

Is all I know is that I really want this one to hit Blu-Ray. It's one of my favorite horror remakes around and would love to hear this with a DTS-HD MA track.

The sequel really does suck. It's sad that such a great remake was followed by such a piece of crap.

Hahaha. My friend got it for me on Blu-Ray. He said he got it for just a couple dollars at Fry's since they had it on sale and since he said he didn't want to feel cheap since we had a budget set, he got me some actual GOOD movies that cost a bit more haha.

I really enjoyed Alex Aja's Hills Have Eyes. The sequel is well...let's just say it deserves to be in the same bin as the porno spoof of the film The Hills Have Thighs.

I agree the Hills remake was much better than other recent remakes, The only reason I have so many horror remake Blus in my collection is because I have all the originals on DVD already.

I'm the same way. If I have the original on Blu-Ray or DVD (Depending on if it made it to Blu or not) then I'll buy the remake on Blu-Ray when it's at a good price.

However, The Hills Have Eyes remake was actually very good. I wasn't expecting much going into the movie and was really glad that I gave it a shot.
