Alright after months of previews and all the hype of Matt LeBlanc making his return to tv, after the first episode I am left to ask.....where the f*ck was Matt LeBlanc? He was in a 10 second scene, are you kidding me? Every preview built this show up to be about Matt and than we follow two very boring Brits around for 30 minutes while every American is made to look like a complete assh0le. This is not at all what I thought the show would be, I'm left to wonder if Matt is really only a co-star in the future and if this show is going to be about the couple who I couldn't care less about.

That really sucks and I really hope he becomes the main character/focus soon as that's what the show has been advertised as. I know we might not get a lot of Matt at first as he becomes the main actor in the remake they are doing in the show but I thought for sure he would at least get more then a few seconds. Really hope they change it soon or they really suck at marketing a show as they used Matt to draw people in but once they see he's hardly on the show they will just tune out.

Yeah, he was on talk shows just last week promoting it as his new show too, lol. They are all damned LIARS!!!

Yeah I keep hearing how this is his show and he was hardly in the pilot. I heard of skewing the truth but this is pretty weird to advertise this show as his new show if he's only a secondary character unless things change later on.

He's literally in for one very short scene in the first few minutes driving his car and talks on the phone for a few seconds, and than the idiot British broad drives on the wrong side of the road and smashes into him head on and as soon as they hit it's the last time you see him haha.

Haven't seen this yet but can't believe they already used the driving on the wrong side of the road joke I see whenever a UK character visits America or vice versa.

He's a character played by Matt LeBlanc in 'Friends' and the 'Friends' spin-off show 'Joey'.
In 'Episodes' Matt LeBlanc plays Matt LeBlanc.

I'll still tune in, but there was certainly a disconnect between his involvement in the promotion and his involvement in this episode. Perhaps they are meaning to follow this process organically, and as he is more involved in the story, he'll be more involved in the episodes.

Yeah and none of it was funny I smiled once at the return to the guy at the gate... It seems like a big fail. One of the worst, most random starts for a show I've ever seen.

Could they have found two British people anymore boring or obnoxious than the ones they cast? This is definitely one of the worst pilots I've seen. I dropped the show and may just check it out after it's over, just to see if it ever amounted to anything more and if Matt ever became a bigger part. But that episode was a definite fail for me.

Especially compared to the excellence that was Shameless.
