Still bummed that E3 won't ever be the same. Sure it moved away from just the industry chatting with others in the industry but there are plenty of other shows for that. E3 was america's big gaming love fest where even normal folk could figure out ways to sneak onto the floor. I went a couple times, legitimently, and it was always fun seeing those that sneak in and watching their eyes light up and just the sheer excitement. That is viral marketing at its best. Every chatroom, forum, and blog was always being bombarded with new info.
I hope they bring back a version of E3, or create a comiccon like show that is fully open to the public. |
