I might check out going the distance thanks for the quick little review. I still think a great contest cover would be a social network one cause theres a million ways of going about it just my two cents. DV8 did you ever finish your salt cover???

I got a pm about the contest since euphoricfx.org needs 1 more entrant, but the rules ask that all entrants be submitted by the 7th. Not sure if they'll allow me in or not.

I knew a professor that did this for his own book. He said that it was his book so he could do whatever the hell he liked. Then went on to say how the publisher can make money off of all other schools and students that have to purchase it. He went on about how textbooks are written to include a whole lot of stuff he would never teach but others might so according to the publisher it was needed in his book.

Anyways, it was nice of him to do that for his student's benefit I guess.

That's pretty cool, just checked out that site and I like the two different groupings of the movies. I'm definitely interested to see what everyone comes up with. So this starts on Jan 15th?

Actually, I believe the final title selection will be made on the 15th, and then us entrants have to make our covers... I believe they won't need to be submitted until the 15th of February... I hope, as I am on a vacation form the 19th to the 31st
