There are a few reviewers that claim these, along with other class D amps, don't do the highest frequencies real well. That is why for me, I think for the money and performance these are a nice match for powering the lower end of bi-ampable speakers. Almost all the subs use these class D amps now, so it makes sense. Seems like a heck of a value for bass headroom on quality speakers. |

Nope. I was looking at Class D amps some time ago - forgot who the made them, but they used ICE - but got off that train when people started talking about the limitations in the higher frequencies. I initially passed it off as rumor, but it kept coming up and from reputable sources. I know Rotel has their own (not sure if they use ICE), but the price isn't right.
