Don't think so. I came in here looking but all the rant was about an AVS poster.

As I said before, he's been remarkably hard on the Red Ants lately, especially in regards to sales numbers.

This week will be tighter than usual, but, as Darin has said before and I agree, this week is stacked in HD DVDs favor. The deck has been stacked and if BD still wins, I have no doubt we have a clean sweep for the year, and beyond. After Jan, I think HD DVD doesn't have a card left to play.
I never look at the AVS insiders thread any more, so I don't know how he's been behaving there. In connection with the numbers leaks, he does seem more balanced.

That "AVS poster" is the person who's been leaking the numbers.

Its hard to follow a thread as big as this one now a days because one topic can go on for pages, lol. I really didn't want to keep going back and back through more and more pages to find out what all the rant was about. I don't even know who DV is but he's getting the brunt of all the stuff, lol

DV = Dave Vaughn. Not, y'know, Digital Video.

And wasn't this thread on its three hundredth page just a few weeks ago?

I hope people have been able to find Blade Runner and whatnot, it will be really really irritating to have red sell more of it due to the fact that many can not get hold of it,

In Universal's press release for the Bourne Ultimatum's disc sales, they mention DVD sales of 5.4 million. However, curiously absent is any mention of an HD-DVD sales number. Could this mean that the HD-DVD version performed below expectations (maybe the Potter HD-DVDs cannabalized the Bourne Ultimatum sales)?

With all the false number accusiations going on since Paramount reported Transformers sales, I wouldnt be surprised if they were going to just let someone else leak them fist.

I hate rampant speculation....but i cant help but think of how vocal Uni has been even while getting slaughtered......i cant see why they have been so quiet, not announced anything deep into january, and now distanced themselved form Bourne HD..........im just saying, its unusual relative to how they have been in the past. Especially when we have people like RDJam, Merrick and other talking about how their "sources" are relaying all of this juicy info on Hardware sales and HP sales.......just something ive been thinking about. why distance themselves at this point in the most crucial time of the format war? Kinda like sending out a pinch hitter for david ortiz down by 1 with 2 out in the bottom of the ninth.

Effects of pre-orders. My Blade Runner was to have been shipped from amazon today. If this does not ship this week will it not be included in the numbers?

I ordered by Blade Runner the day they listed it at Amazon. It said it was supposed to ship yesterday, still no shipment confirmation.

The only way I know that something I pre-ordered from amazon is about to ship is that they ding my checking account. I see that first, then, typically the following day, I get the email from amazon telling me that my order shipped. Unfortunately, as of this moment, I have not seen any dings for Bladerunner nor The Simpson's Movie/T3, which I preordered together.

But then I always go with free shipping, no matter how much in advance I preorder an item, so that certainly slows down my shipments (except for BOGOs, which have been shipping immediately).
