The Kuro sets are very reliable. You obviously have some moolah, so get an ISF-certified calibrator to come by and make sure you're getting the most out of your Kuro, they can probably calibrate the Sammy while they're there as well.

The Kuro Elite is the king, don't sell it, you don't need TWO 3D TV's unless the 2nd one is better than the Kuro and to be honest for 2D there isn't another set out there yet that can match the Kuro's overall performance.
