LOL! I wasn't a happy camper....pissed me right off!

Not sure what I'll be doing today, so I'll play it by ear. Will likely get some cooking done and seperate it into portions for use later in the week. Have had a taste for Meatballs lately in a nice sauce. Plus they are great for leftover sandwiches.

That sounds good, leftovers converted into sandwiches are great I think.

BoB is awesome! Finished Lonesome Dove this morning, watched Rob Roy this afternoon, not sure what will be tonight.

And I ordered Assault on Precinct 13 (1976), just watched Escape from New York, so in the mood for some more John Carpenter. Saw the remake of Precinct 13, never seen original.

Dog needs to go out. Should have trained her to use the toilet.

Hi Lou,

Nice to see ya! Were you able to recover everything?
Thanks, guys!

Yes, John, I was able to recover everything. The device was not completely dead. It is an external hard drive and shuts down every five to eight minutes. I had to transfer almost 500GB of data to another computer that had enough space. Now to search for a better external hard drive since this model is the second that failed on me in three years. The first failure was under warranty and Buffalo Technologies replaced it for free. This time I know it is out of warranty so I am not even trying with them. A reputable, reliable system is about $500, though. That is a really tough nugget to swallow.

Anyway, looks like you are on vacation. Hope you are enjoying yourself.

And, Brent, I hope sleep finds itself to your body soon so you can enjoy your days without the weight of lacking slumber upon you.

JUPITER's C0CK!!!

I just re-read what I wrote and I totally have watched too much Spartacus this week (They had a marathon leading up the premier if the 6-episode mini-series last night). My sentence sounded like the cryptic tongue heard in the ancient Roman lingo on the show.

Lou,

Have you seen Rome? I love it, so sad it went only 2 seasons.

Don't know what to do with 2nd day of vacation.

Gotta take wife to hair salon, I'll have an hour or so to kill. No idea what to do. She is lucky we don't have any hi-fi shops around here, or I'd wander into one. Mall has a shop selling some stuff Wharfedale, Marantz, Cambridge Audio, but there prices are 25% higher than Taipei.

Will make some breakfast, watch a movie and I don't know. Some stuff I need to do around the house, put up some shelves and move stuff out of/into baby's room, too much like work, so I'm not interested.

Cooked a lot yesterday and washed a lot of pots an pans and dishes, so done cooking for a bit.

What are you up to?

Swordfish is great! Lots of action, and Halle Berry's boobies don't hurt. Got an idea for my new avatar!

Why are you watching a movie you own on cable?

Dog is awake; she is great. Most dogs want to go out as soon as they hear you up. She can sleep in and let me have some coffee and get on here for a bit before she needs to pee. If it is cold she will sleep till 11:00, doesn't want to get out of bed.

Later.

What Blu-ray are you going to watch tonight?

Again, why watch a movie on cable that you have?

Not sure what I will start with, that reminds me gotta start price tracking Hitman.
