Showtime's "Homeland" starring Claire Danes

I have no idea how I missed this but one thing I often mention around here is how I wish that Damian Lewis would return to tv, ever since Life was canceled he has been greatly missed. Well apparently a few weeks ago this article slipped right by me and I didn't notice that the always great Damian has signed on for THE leading role. I went from lukewarm to definitely there when this premieres now!

Damian Lewis to star in 'Homeland'

Homeland centers on U.S. Marine Sergeant Scott Brody (Damian Lewis), a POW who miraculously returns home after nearly a decade of captivity in Iraq, and Carrie Anderson (Claire Danes), a driven CIA officer who suspects he might be plotting an attack on America. Klattenhoff will play a Marine colonel and Brody's best friend who has become close with his wife Jessica (Laura Fraser) over the years that he has been MIA. The cast of the pilot, which is about to start production, also includes Mandy Patinkin.
