How is this any different than when DVD's came out. I remember when I had my first DVD player that sat on my shelf for about 2 weeks until the first DVD was released. I paid about $800 for it and had to live with the fact that certain movies never played on my player. Some worked on Toshiba, but not on Sony, some Pioneer but not Sharp, etc. It was a huge mess and there were no FW updates and this was a reality for about the 1st and 2nd year of the format. This is nothing to complain about and you can continue to expect compatability issues until the format has aged, as it did with DVD until you get your 3rd and 4th gen players.

my 2 cents..
