Incidentally these covers/boxes are photoshopped to ****. Really killed off the artwork. Vanilla.

Still, those little artcards are nice.

If people want scans of the boxes LMK and I'll get right on it

I haven't heard great things about this release so I was wondering the best release that has English subtitles or audio? The Italian releases? (I'm aware that is only TGTBTU)

The Italian TGTBTU and FAFDM only have Italian audio/subs. The Italian FOD has English mono and English subs and is better than the MGM version.

So dvd.it is incorrect in saying that there is English "Language Dubbing" on TGTHTH?

So I might as well pick up this set then, seeing as I don't own it in any form?

Yeah. The only one of the three I would say is worth trying to get the Italian release is Fistful of Dollars as the transfer is much better than the MGM release and this is the only one of the three Italian versions that is English friendly.

The Italian Fistful bd is a thing of beauty, highly recommended:

No, it was Collector's Edition. I had actually paid EUR 13,42 for it (17,90/1,20 + 2,00P&P - 3,50 Discount).

I'm happy with my UK box set! Would of course prefer the best transfers available, but I think all 3 look great on Blu!

I won't be picking up these films on Blu-ray until they're granted the transfers they deserve. Also, both versions of TGTBATU need to be available via seamless branching.

The Italian Fistful Of Dollars, I'd honestly be highly surprised if the PQ could be beaten on this format. Finding a copy...that might not be so easy....

Oh it can be had from EBay sellers in Italy and several Italian online retailers. It is prettuy readily available still. It is the shipping that is killer. If Amazon.it gets it back in stock that will probably be a prime option. I think I read that they have a flat rate shipping cost.

Im thinking of ordering this, anyone know if it will come with the art cards? Is it an ongoing thing or just the first batch?

I bought mine around 2-3 months ago and it came with the artcards, I think the artcards are a permanent aspect of the actual product and not limited in quantities.
