Alien VS Predator

Just came back from Circuit City, not Best Buy where you can get great Rewards , and picked up Goodfellas. While in the Blu-Ray section i noticed 8 copies of Alien VS Predator. Guess it came out a week early.

Too bad you didn't try and pick it up. CC is notorious for breaking street dates only to have their computer system restrict you from a purchase. Would have been interesting if you could have gotten out of the store with it.

yeah, i think i'll pick it up after work. I was looking to pick this up eventually, so i'll see if i can swing it a week early.

Yeah The Circuit City that I go to, near Saint Louis is always putting out Blu-Ray discs and HD DVD discs before the street date.Best Buy sometimes brake the street date too,I found 8 Bellow and Dinasaur at Best Buy a whole week before there was supposed to come out.Speaking of Circuit City I went in there yesterday and they was selling the latest HD DVD player from Toshiba the A2-what! I thought Circuit City did not sell Toshiba products? They had it hooked to a 60" 1080p Sony TV.

I find that Circuit City has them out before time but can not sell them (tried to get away with a couple).

1) How is the PQ compared to others like Kingdom of Heaven or Crank ?
2) Is it the directors cut ?

Dunno about PQ, but it has both cuts on the disc, it uses seemless branching like DVD does and like how HD-DVD cannot.

Maybe thats why when I go in to buy a copy on release date and can't find any. Kinda like how I got my Sony player 3 days before they actually came out.
