Im happy witth that. Salamun market is one of my favourites and i dont mind Blood Gracht but i know a lot people dont like Blood Gracht.
Its funny to me they feel like the oldest maps because i was in the KZ2 closed and public beta and those to maps along with Radec Academy were the beta so i had spent alot time with those maps even before KZ2 release

I am one of them. I thought Pyrrhus Rise was a no-brainer though.

Yeah there was a lot of shouts out for Pyrrhus im suprised it didnt get picked. Salamun and Pyrrhus would have been my choice. at least Blood Gracht is down to 16 players

Me neither. Didnt take long for Helghan plant life to take over and Salamun market has Mechs and the sky is lighter and clearer

You are SO right, Shin! Here are some new tech facts about Killzone 3:

- 3x the polygons in Killzone 2
- 3x the draw distance in Killzone 2
- Now, uses 100% of Cell processor
- Killzone 3 is 43.8GB of Data

I'm still in awe of the makeover they've given Blood Gracht.

edit: here's as direct a comparison as I can make with official media.

Compare the Medic as well.

Each piece of clothing and equipment looks like its made from the right unique materials with sharper textures combined with high frequency detail textures which were only sparingly used in the environment in K2. The visor's less reflective so you can see through to the face more easily.

The textures are 4x better than Killzone 2! How is that possible?! Procedural textures?

I think it's primarily down to much more heavy streaming like Uncharted. GG mentioned early on it allowed the massive increase in overall level size. I don't think the mid-level loading pauses are there any more either.
