wrong 1080p is twice the resolution. 1080i is the same resolution as 480p. google it.

i have a 40" 1080i/720p sony bravia and my friend has a 40" 1080p sony bravia. theres no real difference. mine even looks more clearer to be honest. it looks the same to me. my cousin has an 42" lg 1080p, we were watching spiderman3 and it didnt even look all that great.
