Gamespot seemed to think it was more cut scenes that caused the issue, then general single player gameplay.

whatever, different people have different preferences. Some people will rag on Call of Duty till the cows come home. Obviously, some people think KZ3's campaign mode is lacking. That's fine. They're entitled to their opinions.

On another note you Chicago fools got DESTROYED, HOLY F. Still the greatest city though. I've been twice the past year and planned to go again this summer and maybe before then (if it's still there LOL). Lakeshore Drive totally shutting down?! That is like Day After Tomorrow type stuff.

Yea that shit was crazy we also had some thunder and lighting beside the blizzard. It was like Day After Tomorrow. I think I rather have all that snow then that Ice some other states got hit with. People where ice skating in IN and playing hockey on the streets .

not at all, but I don't get how people (not you) can discredit a reviewer's opinion regardless if said person has played the game or (more likely) not. People have different experiences and preferences that result in divergent views. I didn't really like Panzer Dragoon Saga back in the day, but I'm not going to bash all the people who proclaimed it one of the best games on the Sega Saturn.

Clearly some people like review scores (some put more weight into them than others) as their a ton of sights out their that make money based off reviews. Not sure what is so hard to understand that people like to read them and get feedback on a product. I like them to gain info, and some things that will bother a reviewer and they'll doc points for (KZ3 and its story) will have zero impact or importance to me. Just like some play games for the story and not care about a game not having gameplay (like Final Fantasy games).

I like to read them regardless but I get mad when the games I like or liked don't get the props they deserve

I hear you, there are certainly times when I'm confused at how they can rate a game so low (Uncharted: DF) , be a certain category or overall or rate a game so high (like GTA IV receiving 10's)...


edit: I'm 99% sure I'll enjoy the hell out of KZ3. Based off the reviews they've added variety in scenery which was pretty much my only complaint.

Well, if a game that many people were getting excited for is getting universally panned it would probably be wise to think twice about spending your gaming dollars on it.

KZ3 is not getting panned, but I have read that the single player campaign isnt all that great.

Nevertheless I fully expect this to be one of those games that gets a lot of fanboy love, but those who aren't fanboys will view it as just another shooter, albeit a very pretty one.

For the record, I feel the same way about the Halo games, good games when they are seperated from the fanboy hype, but really not all that revolutionary, but fun and enjoyable all on their own.

Because most reviewers base their scores on their biased opinions and whether or not they get paid for a positive review. Look at IGN, probably the paradigm of terrible reviews. If I want a review I can trust, I'll go to Kotaku or go to forums.

i love the beta and cant wait for my helghast edition.this game is sick.im racking up 40 kills almost every game man i love it.idk y ign gave it a 8.5 but gametrailers gave it a 9.3.game stop hates ps3 so a 8.5 from them i was expecting they SUCK.
