I don't think it's a good idea to put a tv outdoors even though it won't be exposed to rain/snow like you said. It'll still have to deal w/ temperature changes, humidity and alot more dirt/dust. Now if it was an addition to your house that would be climate controlled with insulated walls like every other room in the house, then that would be fine but in my opinion the tv won't last long under those conditions. I'm sure someone else will jump in and offer their thoughts as well.
