The dualshock 3 is heavier than the sixaxis because of the motors in it, but it is not uncomfortable. Whether a game uses rumble or not I use my dualshock 3 because it feels nicer (weight-wise). Generally speaking, when my PS3 is on I'll charge one pad whilst I'm using the other. I watch a lot of dvd/blu-rays too, so whilst I'm watching a film I keep my DS3 on charge. I've NEVER had to use either pad tethered to the console since I bought it in March!
I bought a USB adapter to make my PS2 pads work on my PC, as it happens it works on the PS3 as well. There is no PS button though. Vibration works for PS2 games (although now I use my DS3) but doesn't work on PS3 games. |
