Yup, SMG and her husband are about the same age as me. The only "Buffy" chicks I could see doing this role are Amy Acker and Eliza Dushku though.

Eliza Dushku and Summer Glau are tv kryptonite. For whatever reason Eliza can only last on tv when she's a sidekick, and Summer well she kills everything she's on, like some sort of machine sent back in time just to kill tv shows.

So far my vote goes for the no name, but beautiful Tanit Phoenix.

This show will have almost nothing to do with the Wonder Woman that has appeared in DC Comics for over 60 years, it is nothing more than a David Kelley series dressed up in new clothes. There have been several reviews already on the Internet of the script for the pilot, lambasting it for the ridiculous things that happen. The show will be squarely aimed at fans of Ally McBeal. Superhero fans should check their expectations at the door and not try to think too hard about it. Every other network passed on the series multiple times, but NBC is so desperate they will air almost anything.

I love Eliza Dushku, but she is too short to play Wonder Woman. She has a better chance to play Wonder Girl than Diana.

I think she would've been an awesome addition to the cast of the new Superman movie, either as Lois Lane or a disciple of Zod but yeah I love her too. Always wish she had been the main character of Buffy instead of SMG. After reading what you said, I will pass on this show.

Nobody even remembers Aly McBeal, the only thing I remember is those damned dancing Baby commercials.

It is short when you are supposed to be playing a Greek goddess brought to life through clay shaped by the Greek Olympians.

Apparently you're not familiar with this lovely invention that ladies use to increase height known as the stiletto. Check out that second photo I posted above. Tall women scare me, and really isn't wonder woman supposed to be about beauty and powers not terrifying men by being a behemoth?

It's not short when you're playing a chick who runs a company and has super powers.

Is she going to have all her powers and that rope of hers (forgot the name)? Will she be able to fly?

Plus Megan Fox is no where near muscular! Bring on Tanit Phoenix

I'll definitely be passing if this is the case.

Here were some of the goofy things in the leaked script (note: all of these points were copied from someone else):

Well, this Wonder Woman:

[Show spoiler] * Identifies with ET the Extra Terrestrial when his movie comes on TV.
* Really loves planes. Like really.
* Pines for Steve Trevor like Carrie for Big.
* Wants to belong and be “among” people, not just “with” them.
* Sings along to the radio in multiple scenes – but nothing with a hairbrush in front of the mirror just yet.
* Doesn’t like being “marketed, commercialized, merchandised”, though she is – there’s a joke about Wonder Woman tie-in dolls having their costumes redesigned that seems to reference the recent makeover for the comics.
* When she’s Diana Prince she’s a mousey Miley Stewart, when she’s Diana Themiscyra she’s the Hanna Montana of businesswomen, and when she’s Wonder Woman she’s Wonder Woman – which is precisely twice in the whole episode.
* Is a capitalist.
* Puts on her PJs for an ice-cream filled sleepover with best friend Myndi.

We can only hope that was a very early draft and has been heavily edited and changed since then, however, this is David E Kelly and NBC so that's probably exactly what we can expect.

If a bad TV show of WW is made then that may diminish the slight chance of ever seeing a WW movie. Fingers are crossed on this one.

I'm sure it'll be a hit. Just not with comic geeks. Or casual fans. Or anyone that cares remotley at all about WW.

I don't remotely care if she can fly, or has a rope or whatever else these fanboys are *****ing about, but I also have never read comics so maybe that's why it's just another show to me, but I don't ever expect anything on NBC to be a hit. I mean do they really have anything that scores over a 2.0??
