Well, it's a bit more complicated that that I'm afraid. Keep in mind this film was released in 1981, not 1941. There's quite a bit of debate on 1.37 vs. 1.75 as the intended aspect ratio for the film. The most recent DVD was 1.33, but they may favor 1.75 (or 1.78) for the BD.
