Off the Map

[CZAR]

Off the Map is an upcoming American medical drama television series that will air on ABC. It was created by Jenna Bans, who will also serve as an executive producer, along with Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers. The series will premiere on January 12, 2011 at 10:00 pm Eastern (9:00 pm Central). Though filmed in Hawaii, the series is set in a remote South American village, where six doctors search for reasons that brought each of them to medicine.

The series will premiere on January 12, 2011 in the 10:00-11:00 pm ET timeslot on the ABC Television Network.

Can't wait for the pilot as it seems interesting for a medical drama and a new location instead of a hospital in the city.

I really like Zach Gilford from Friday Night Lights but I don't think I'll watch this show. I've never been a fan of medical shows and the fact that Shonda Rhimes is involved makes me think it could just be another Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice.

I'm really hoping it turns out more like House and not Grey's or Private as I hate those shows so I'm still keeping my hope alive.

Enjoyed the pilot and really hope the numbers improve next week. Pretty cool cases with the guy on the

It was alright, but I only cared about Brenner. Everybody else was pretty lame.

Looks like Off The Map will be getting a special encore tonight after Grey's to try and get more people interested in the show.

It bumps back a new PP episode till Feb and wow can the fans whine and ***** at TVbythenumbers and now they are all boycotting this show. For being Grey's and Private Practice fans you would think they want the creators new show to do good.

Saw the encore presentation tonight. It's not ER but passable entertainment. I don't think I'll be watching it regularly but intrigued at next week's episode with the snake.

I thought the Pilot episode was alright. Not bad, but not great either. I like most of the cast, especially Zach Gilford since he was so good on Friday Night Lights. Medical dramas are a tough genre to make fresh every season and I know most TV viewers on message boards like these are sick and tired of them, but I think at least for the 1st episode this is adding something a little different to it. Hopefully the next 12 episodes can develop the characters and create some interesting stories with the jungle setting.

I second that, and the ratings are pretty bad. I don't expect this to survive the season.

If Body of Proof bombs I can see this getting a second season the way V did last year.

Possibly, it seems like everything is bombing this year. There are so many great shows I watch that are almost guaranteed to be canceled at this point. I am completely losing the last remaining shred of hope for intelligent tv after this season.

See now u see where I am coming from. A show doesnt have to be bad in order to get cancelled. Thats just how it is man. I do hope The Chicago Code makes it as that has the makings to be a great show. Got Em!!
