I don't think I tried the Engineer class. The mini hand grenade launcher looked fun.
Aha! I've just realised that's probably the grenade launcher sound I kept hearing being fired at me in the Beta! It's that little swine they've been using to try and blow my ass off!

Playing the beta, I was often the only one that was the Engineer class on my team. I'm surprised more people don't choose it since fixing the ammo crates in key areas of the map can be quite beneficial.

It's amazing what a night-and-day difference there is in terms of completing objectives when each player on a team does their part using their class abilities.

I'm so glad they decided to tone down the over the top death moans. My wife asked me what I was doing when I was playing the beta and would die.

Yeah but you could have the joy of Singleplayer for now and then have it all wrapped up and ready to jump straight into Multiplayer as soon as the severs are up if it makes you feel better you could just ring a copy through the till after its released and pay for it then

i think thats the main difference in this mp compared to others. Teamwork IS essential, coordinating who would play who, and what to do so to speak. Thats why there wasnt a big transition from COD players to BFBC2 and this one, was that all of a sudden you have a team full of snipers against medics, or something similar.

If you noticed your team lacks an engineer or a medic, you can always end up doing so, and use that towards your benefit (get more revivals et al)

I can agree to that, but at times, i loved playing medic too. Its a great balance depending on who your playing, and who your against.

Man, i kinda remembered how great the lobby was in this game. One major plus on their end.

The only role I played was medic, didn't even try any of the others. Like the level 3 weapon, like the level 3 secondary weapon and like having my drone follow me around. Be happy if they increase the revive distance to a reasonable amount, having to stand right on top of a downed team mate while reviving is like painting a big bullseye on me. Not talking about half way across the map but it would be nice to be able to do it from cover.

oh, ONE thing i hate tho, is when playing Medic, you USED to be able to revive people using the O button, not in this case anymore..

The only downside I can see to the added distance for revives is that now a medic can revive me from cover right as the guy who killed me the first time kills me again...used to be that the medic would meet the same fate (sort of like retribution!), but now they can just revive me so I die again and nothing happens to them!

Most people will probably find that on different maps you will prefer different classes. for me in this open beta map Frozen Dam i only played Tactician exclusively

In the Private beta i was always primeraly Tactician as capturing Tactical Spawn Points is initially the most important but after capturing TSPs on Corinth Highway i would often change to Engineer to fix up WASP Turrets and help keep control of TSP but changing back to Tactician if my team lost control of TSP

The other map was Concourse Turrbine 6SE on that map After securing the TSP i would change to Marksman class as that map is a snipers paradise

I never use Medic and only ever used Infiltrator if i had a personal vendetta againsed a camper or Sniper and wanted make sure i got up close to snap his neck

one tactic i hated in BFBC2. the 'untrained' medic would go head on and try to revive someone, not knowing the source of me down is still in front of em. another death on MY end, PLUS no foul on the untrained medic.

nice.

i miss the older maps. i wish i didnt sell my KZ2...

Ya often a medic will revive me even when the enemy is standing right over my body...I die again just as the standing up sequence finishes.
Most annoying is when I get killed by a sniper who leaves me there as bait for the medic...then he gets us both again!! That one I can't really blame the medic though.

If when I die and I know I'm in a hot spot like that little corner on the bottom of the map with the bridge and water in that death square , I just lay there till I feel like the fights lightened up
