After viewing HD-DVD on the 360, I was pumped to see the quality with my new ps3.

I hooked it all up.
system recognizes 1080p.
put in movie.

SUCKS.

grainy...not mind blowing like the hd-dvd flicks.

Ive tried Talledegha Nights, Monster House, Crash, etc etc
nothing blows me away.

However, Corpse Bride and Kink Kong on HD-DVD are mind blowing.

My TV is the new FULL HD Samsung 40in.
Does anyone know what the best Contrast, Sharpness, etc etc should be?
It all depends on the movie and the transfer from film to disc. If you got the same movie on both formats, they should look identical. Get Ice Age 2, or Crank, and you will be blown away!
