I can say that 300 is supposed to be grainy. That is "the directors intent". There are a ton of threads about it. Might want to search. Also, depending on the version (there is a new remastered version out and I hear it is MUCH better than the original - I have only the new one so I don't know how bad the old one was), full metal jacket has SOME grain. Not the amount 300 does. As for the other ones, I can not help you there. I can't remember Apocalypto. I thought the picture was SUPERB when I was watching it.
