I seen this in HD on SHO a few days ago and it looked stunning, the Blu should be outstanding. The colors of the bikes and the costumes were vibrant and beautiful

I didn't know Susan Boyle had a cameo in this movie! Check her out at the 8 second mark in this trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsNjq...eature=related

Nicole's hair in this one is Crazy Friz.
I loved this movie growing up, but I don't think I'll be purchasing it.
Still has me confused as to why this title, don't get me wrong I like the fact there going after some rather lower and I mean lower profile films.

I just picked up Thrashin on DVD for $0.49 at a local pawn shop a month ago! I used to watch Gleaming the Cube constantly as a kid and actually just watched my DVD of it last week. Airborne is another classic, you'd think since it had Jack Black in it, they could use him to market it all ready. If I remember correctly his name was Auggie, but NOTHING beat Seth Green's crazy hair in that movie.

What about "The Dirt Bike Kid"? I religiously watched it along with "BMX Bandits" and "Rad". 80's bike movie box set?

First review I've come across for "BMX Bandits". It sounds promising. Severin Films' website has the Nicole Kidman interview feature up on their site.

I remember watching this in the theatre when I was a kid and of course I wanted a BMX afterwards. I'll probably rent it just for fun.
