This is just me, but I do not believe in them. If I do not have the cash, I do not have the gear. Granted, I use CC's to buy stuff in order to get points, but never because I don't have enough money.

The interest rates, especially at retail stores is crazy. Even if they have 90-days or 1-year same as cash with no interest. Look at the fine print. Some of them can say that if you miss a payment or the balance is not paid off in the time frame the FULL amount of back interest can be owed. I've been screwed over like that in the past when I was much younger and far less wise.

I guess all I'm saying is be careful in your decisions, especially with money.
