I think Justin Long could probably pull it off, but he'd have to have a more badass attitude than slacker like he normally does.

If your not careful, someone we'll see that and run with it. Apparently Hollywood thinks it's ok that Uncharacter is like that, don't put it past them to try it with this series too.

He'd also have to get fit for the role, nothing major just a bit more suited to look like he could kill demons.

I'm kinda getting a bit hyped about it the more I think about it, it could be really easily done correct. We need an actor who can keep straight with crazy stuff going on around them, yet seem bitter and cynical to the manicness of it all, we need to clone a younger Robert Downey Jr

Oh, and slight 80's Action vibe.

Nah, it'll be great. Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren can be his demon kiing aunts! And Megan Fox will be his wife! Gamers will love this movie! Talent, a random chick and Marky Mark, the guy gamers love! David O'Russell will be busy with his Mario Brothers adaptation so we'll hire Uwe Boll. He's got some insane background in this stuff!

We definitely need a young RDJ clone, he would kill in the role. Yea, Justin Long definitely would need to get a bit fit for the role. But he could definitely pull it off. If they get a good, visionary director who understands the source material (80's action vibe, dark humor, lots of insane demons and supernatural stuff), then the movie would be awesome. They also have to aim for an R rating. This can't be PG-13. There's a lot of blood and weird, dark stuff in the games. So we need an R rating.

Only if his dad and uncle are there from the gmaes. And if we can get a director that can drive this in a more action-oriented direction than the videogames could ever achieve.

Devil May Cry Movie Based on New Game

At E3 yesterday, we got a new gameplay trailer for DmC. In a press release, Capcom and Screen Gems have today announced that the Devil May Cry film, which IGN reported on back in February, will be based on the new game.

It makes a lot of sense, since the upcoming game will serve as an origin story for the franchise's main protagonist, Dante. Half-demon, Dante uses his superhuman abilities to slay devils and other supernatural beings, hoping to avenge the death of his mother.

It being an origin story isn't anything shocking but I really hope they go with the original look of Dante and not the new character model they are using for the game.
