Nice projector set-up, but talk about limited space!

You did a good job with what you had to work with, but I have to tell you that you should do something with that stand under the screen, the reflection is probably killing some of your PQ. Any kind of dull material like a sheet or something would really help.

Pretty cool. Kids look like they enjoy. If we had that when I was a kid my mind might have exploded.

How much room do you have for your throw? I've been wanting add a front projector myself, but I only have about 10 feet for my throw. My rooms 12 by something.

Good idea John. A nice black rug-like material I would think should do wonders for killing Any reflection from the picture on Screen.

I did a test and put a dark sheet on the stand and it made no difference in picture quality. I never noticed any problem with the glare before. It might look severe but it does not bother the quality at all but thanks for the heads up.

I tried a dark green fleece and WOW what a difference. Check out the last picture of my gallery to see how the glare is completely gone !!! Thanks

I was thinking perhaps you didn't expect a change to occur the first time, and it was some kind of placebo effect that made you see no difference, as that glare on the top of the stand was quite apparent. But now I see what you did take care of it, and I am happy you like the results. If you check out my gallery, I had to pay close attention to both the floor reflection glare and the ceiling reflection glare, and I took care if it appropriately. Hec, even my curio provided a glare with the mirror in it, so I had to drape a curtain around it as well to eliminate it when using the screen. All pics are in my gallery if you want to take a look. Again, good job with the limited space you have and I'm happy you got some results from taking care of the reflection.

I'd say keep them off because it adds more style. When the grills are on, it looks old fashioned.
