Focusing on fewer product lines is actually a smart move by Sony and something they have needed to do for a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long time IMO. We will need to see what happens with LCD prices in a year or so to determine if it's actually horrible for consumers...the competition is certainly heating up in the LCD/Plasma market.
