Killzone 3

Can I view my win/loss ratio anywhere within the game or is it just available in the "My Killzone" section of the website? I only see my k/d ratio in multiplayer.

KZ2 trophies were hard, but when I finally got the Radec trophy I was so proud of myself. 1% online one is debatable, but trophies like the Radec one are the ones that are worth getting imo. Now when I get the KZ3 platinum I won't think twice about it. My KZ2 platinum is something I'm proud of.

KZ3 is my 16th Platinum. It took me about 15-18hrs and is by far my easiest Platinum in regards to both difficulty and time.

What the eff is the deal with this game. I spend more time connecting or some other crap. Don't know if this game is for me. I don't have the patience.

LOL. I had a clan recruit me on day 2 (I had only played for an hour at that point in time.) So I had that trophy before I had almost all others.

I really wanted this game to supplant MW2 as my primary MP game but have the same feelings you do. MW2 is king for a reason. And before I get attacked, I was playing a warzone match yesterday and for all the complaining a lot of us do in regards to MW2's noob tubes and knifers, the cloaking deal in this one is just infuriating. And I only have 3 others but I agree with the kjacobs that this is by far my easiest plat.

Cloaking owns you actually have to work to kill a sniper now you can't just run all over the map and knife him or dual wield a shotgun and get him

I don't find this to be too much of an issue. For one, they're only fully cloaked when they stay absolutely still, so you'll see them when they're moving around the map. When a cloaked Marksman kills someone with an unsilenced weapon the cloak drops. Now here's the important observation that I've made...

...by the time most Marksmen have fully upgraded to the silenced M66 sidearm, they've also upgraded both their primary and secondary abilities. Fully upgrading the "Scramble" ability seems like a good idea at first, as it disables the enemy radar, but to me it's a big flag that a Marksman is near me. Just being aware of this has allowed me to get the drop on quite a few of them. As a side note, I chose not to upgrade that ability fully on my Marksman.

I am not a MW2 player. I do have it but I play BFBC2 mostly. Hoping this game was going to some of the hours but at this point I am not real sure. I just bought it today so I have to give it time. The cloaking and turning into people on your team is a little crazy. Just can't stand how long it can take to get in a game.

I haven't really had any problems getting into games. Occasionally, the loading screen hangs, and all I do is back out and try joining again which usually results in me getting into a game. If it takes longer than a minute to load into a game just back out to the game selection screen and try again.

Now I'm getting error code -928 whenever I try to play a game. I don't remember killzone 2 having any problems, I wonder what happened at GG because this game has been problematic from the start

I dunno, I have occasional problems. Tonight, having same problems as you and others. Starting playing at about 9:30 Eastern, played a full rotation of Warzone....then stalled on the next match, backed out....tried to get back in and it just stuck on the screen and said "Joining Game". That last for a while and of late been getting the error code 928 thingy.

I was in-game when everything stopped working. Was kinda cool, I could still kill enemies but everything else was basically frozen. Eventually quit then I couldn't join games anymore.

Decided to play single player for the 1st time today

I really, really hope they add an option to play smaller games. I prefer to play games between 4 on 4 and 6 on 6. I don't enjoy the large 12 on 12 and higher games becasue they are too chaotic. I spent 90% of my KZ2 online time in 6 on 6 and enjoyed every minute of it. Even in MW2 I played 4 on 4 almost exclusivly. Please GG, bring back smaller teams!

Cloaking is great but I still die a lot The other person just has to happen to look across and they'll see your name. I've died too many times by just being in the wrong place. I play as the Marksman because I suck at everything else. I'm fully upgraded with Marksman so I figured I'd try Medic since it seems there are NEVER any medics. I gave up on that because I never even had a chance to heal anyone. People just automatically give up because there are never medics. I'm no good with that crappy rifle the medic has either. Even though I do play as Marksman, there are times where I'll find a good place to get a good amount of kills, I also go for a lot of the objectives which usually results in me dying. I just unlocked the skill to equip two primary weapons so now it will be a little easier that I can have the sniper rifle and the assault rifle. Sometimes I feel cheap sitting cloaked and killing people but that's exactly what the Marksman is supposed to do! He is supposed to kill undetected, which the style of play I like. Running and gunning is not me, I prefer to sneak up on people or shoot from a distance. That's just me I don't really care too much about KDR, I just play for fun and Marksman is what I enjoy using

I hate getting revived because you pretty much always end up facing the opposite direction of the firefight. You just end up getting shot in the back again since the maps are small.

Well yeah, reviving someone in the middle of a firefight usually isn't the best idea. A Medic would be nice for me as a Marksman, since I'm not directly in battle.
