Bah, waiting on this company to get back to me concerning an application I put in to rent one of their properties.

They called and said "no" because my wife's income isn't enough, which I don't get. She makes $1600 and rent is $1000.

But I told them about my unemployment benefits and they're going to call me back tomorrow.

I live in a pretty bad part of town and I need this.

why is my sup such a douche??

so his kid keeps him up @ night......call in or sack up, but don't take u're crappy attitude out on your employees.

between my 2 kids, i've been getting up almost every night for the last 5 years!!

Seems like a lot of fathers don't sack it up, which is terribly unfortunate. Like you, I'm the one that gets out of bed if my kids are crying, need to go to the bathroom, are scared, etc., at night.

Me & my wife have an understanding…..i work and she stays @ home w/the kids. She works Mondays and Tuesdays to get out of the house a couple days a week.

When I have to work and she doesn’t, she usually gets up w/our son if he wakes up. He’s almost 3 but is @ that age where if he wakes up, he wants to sleep in our bed…..which is NOT allowed.

When she has to work the next day, I’ll usually take those nights so she can sleep. Then on weekends we share the duties if one of the kids gets up. So in the end, we basically split time if/when he gets out of bed.

But I’ve been through what he’s going through, it’s not like he didn’t expect it when he had a kid. Deal with it in your own way but don’t take it out on your employees @ work.

Generally if I hear my girls crying during the night, I get up and tend to them. The problem is however I am a very heavy sleeper and most times I don't hear anything.

My wife is a stay at home mom (her choice) and I work (my choice). However to pull in the $$$ to do this means my commute is 90mins 1way. The drive is a pain, work is a pain, but the time I miss with my girls is the real killer.

However on the weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) I am 100% in dad duty. Regardless of the amount of times I've stumbled into the bedroom door to tend to my daughter's nightmare, or stubbed my toes. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

The opposite of that is when I get home late because of traffic and their already asleep...

that sucks!!! I’ve only done that 1-2x since they’ve been born.

I only have a 10 min. drive everyday.

I was talking to a girl I know and she said that if you have a blu ray player and put a DVD in it, it will upconvert the DVD PQ to blu ray quality.

She's as dumb as a box of rocks.
