the only thing I do not like about "Disney's" DVD and Blu-Ray's is
when they force there "Commercials and Trailers" to play at the start and lock you out from skipping them! that's just un-cool!! in 10 or 20 years from now you still have no choice when you play "Those" Disc's.

The one's that let you bypass are ok with me.

It took awhile for FOX to become a top notch studio when they approached the SDVD market (to be precise they were the studio to raise the bar with Fight Club) and I see exactly the same progression with BR.

I expect nothing but great releases in 2008 from FOX and they are clearly my favorites.

Pro-B
Fox has become my new favorite studio with absolutely outstanding PQ on Mr. Brooks, Silver Surfer, Prison Break, and DH4.

Indeed it seems like one of the red ant talking points is "never pass up a chance to bash Fox."

Fox is great, but Disney is the best. Awesome quality and not looking for $35 per title.

Default Sometimes better cost more

I do understand that Fox movies cost more, but even without being in most of the BOGO of the last few months I find that I have percentage wise of released movies per studio I have:

Fox = 43% of releases,
Sony = 34% of releases,
Disney = 22% of releases,
WB = 17% of releases.

I do buy something everytime there is a BOGO, but I no longer buy anything during the first 10 days, this way I will no longer get caught up in all of the problems, such as T3, & the Harry Potter box which I do want but will wait until the problems go away, as I no longer waht to buy something then wait until the studio fixes the problem then do a mail exchange.

I have been happy with all my FOX BLU-RAY's that I have bought.I was even happy with 28 Days Later yeah I know the movie looks like crap but I thought the audio was fantastic. The Simpsons Movie on Blu-Ray was very nice as well.Even some of the MPEG 2 tittles looked good as well such as Night of The Museum. Yeah the price tag is a bit high but I'm sure the prices will go down in time-I hope? Looking forward to see what FOX has plan for Blu-Ray threw out 2008.

After watching about half of the Prison Break Season 1 BD set that I got for Christmas, I gotta say Fox really kicked ass with the PQ... awesome awesome job Fox, keep it up.

fox actually represents the least studio's titles that i own. disney has the lion's share.

that's not to say fox has nothing to offer. they do, but they ain't on blu (yet?)
I agree with you 100%. I also have almost all of Disney’s films, the only ones which I do not have are the sport films, and I hate sport films. I have a few FOX titles, I mean what is up with their prices, even their one and only BOBO was too much for me to afford. FOX should reduce their MSRP to $30. Look at Disney’s films, they have perfect PQ and AQ, and they always have their BOGO sales, yet they keep their prices low. So far based on my opinion, Disney is the only 100% true Blu supporter.

That's the only feature I like about WB. It goes right into the movie after FBI warning message.
It's already taken more than a minute from the minute you press the power button, press eject button, load the disc and wait for the disc to load data on certain movie before anything show up on the TV.
Main menu can be accessed anytime during play back. Audio can be chosen during playback with the press of a button.

Totally agree. If Fox keeps on putting out discs that look as good as Prison Break, I will be very happy.

Well I have to wait and see Fantastic Four 2 on my 1080p after my one month winter break, because it looks like crap on my parent’s 1080i. The movie was playing on my PS3 via HDMI at 1080i resolution, unless I should had tried 720p. I had been watching my 1080p TV since July and my eyes are so used to that resolution, everything else looks terrible.

And yes all of FOX’s titles on my 1080p look phenomenal.

WB is being held down by the anchor that is HD-DVD.

Sunshine is about a crew of people that are trying to re-ignite a dying sun. They are in this gigantic shielded spaceship with a device that will cause a reaction to make the sun "re-ignite". It has excellent acting and fantastic cinematography.

Keep up the good work Fox you just made me a one happy customer.
Let me reinstate what you should have said, or meant to say, why all studios cannot be like Disney? Because Disney is the best, they have the best PQ and AQ, and they have the best library (now only if they would release them all, 2008 maybe, well all of their top titles).

Why can't other studios release movies that are over priced and delayed?

For now, it seems like Warner & Universal donīt care much about customers...

They should already recognize that the most people want BLU!
(canīt they read any numbers ?!)

why the heck such a playhouse....
