Looks like the DVD will be a DVD-Audio release, but the Blu-ray will be the option for me.

Ugh so now they decide to support DVD-A (IF this turns out to be true). There's no reason that S&A shouldn't have had lossless surround instead of that "MVI" Dolby Digital nonsense. Only thing I can figure is that as of 2004 Warner Music Group was no longer part of the (800-lb. gorilla DVD Forum member) Time Warner/Warner Bros. (the movie studio) so licensing fees on a 2007 release would make a true DVD-A with lossless MLP surround more expensive than the DVD-V-by-another-name that is "MVI."

Can't wait to hear that "snotty" bass and the plywood cracks and various other percussion accents of "YYZ" in lossless at reference level. F*ck the neighbors.
