I was just wondering if anyone here has finished the story, because I've heard the story wasn't as really developed as I thought it would be and the ending sucked. I just want to see what do you guys think of the campaign in KZ3, because the story in KZ2 was pretty great until the ending where

It would be nice to decide how many players you would like to play against. The max is 30 isn't it? I think it was for KZ2 at least. I haven't paid attention too much on KZ3 since I've been playing. Maybe it's 20. Either way I like it with more people. Although I did enjoy it when it was 3 on 3 as well. It's wierd playing when everything is not blowing up and bots flying around.

I haven't finished the story. I find myself playing the multiplayer more than anything. It's just like KZ2, I just don't find the SP interesting at all. None of the characters interest me and the story is just okay. I just don't really have fun with SP Now the multiplayer I love!

Worth it though, I'm part way through my 24 hour voucher and so far I've got 10 unlocks to use when it runs out.

I had a problem when I first tried to enter my voucher code; the PSN store was offline because of the Black Ops DLC!! Unbelievable.

Right, time for a cuppa, then later this morning back on to the battlefield. I charged up my Move controllers last night so they are armed and ready.

Yeah story wasnt that great but I still did really enjoy the SP. The gameplay, graphics and Multiplayer still make the game a winner IMO.
The ISA part of the story has always been the weak part i think because you get no connection to the Protaganists but I do love the Helghast part, i like their characters, their world and their story.

Now, the ending

[Show spoiler] lots of people have said its all set up for KZ4 but im not sure it is really. Who do we think got out of that pod at the end? Stahl? are we ment to think survived that nuclear blast at the end? and even if it is him,... infact even if it turned out to be Visari back from the dead himself. What is he supposed to do with the fact that Helghan forces along with its planets population has been totally wiped out?

Yeah, I got mu unlock code on and all going well, except that this morning I'm having all sorts of Move problems, I keep having to re-calibrate.

I'm going to recalibrate it on the XMB to see if that helps, really irritating as I'm having to point the Move to the right to go forward?!?

Anyway, 13 unlock points waiting to use when my voucher expires, but plenty more time to get even more!

Didn't yesterday's update say that GW matches would be to 100 kills or 15:00? When I was playing yesterday, they seemed the same. Actually, now that I think about it, I didn't get offered to update the game when I popped it in yesterday but was still able to play online...This was after the update stuff was announced but I remember reading on here before I played that particular time that some of you were able to update.

And I'm sure this has been adressed time and time again but someone on here very nicely gave me their voucher code for the DLC and 24 hours of double xp and the career unlock stuff but I don't have it. How do I get it? Please help.

I finished it over the weekend and had a blast. The story has its spots of up and down but I think the visuals, sound and weapons make up for anything I was missing during my game play.

The story/ending was good and could have been better, but like one of the other comments stated some of my favorite movies have a worse story.

I just finished it last night. I thought it ended pretty good. Maybe not the best story but I loved it just the same.

I'm getting really perturbed now. I tried at least 7 MP matches last night and was kicked and banned from every one of them. I know some say it might be because I'm not very good at playing, but some of the time, I can't even walk two or three feet after the match starts before I get kicked. I think since the time I bought KZ3, I have actually only been able to finish two matches. I hope people don't think I'm THAT bad. Even so, at least I could help other players get points by killing me . I've read that some others players are having this problem, but I don't believe anyone here is. I really enjoy MP and wish I knew how to fix the situation.

If it's Warzone or Operations game types that you're getting kicked from, it could be you've joined into a game on the side of a clan. I've seen it happen where a clan doesn't want a random joining in on their match in other games, but it hasn't happened to me on here though. Mind you, I stick mostly to Guerrilla Warfare.

What's your PSN ID? KZ3 has a very sensitive profanity filter (that's getting fixed in a patch soon I think). If your name is considered offensive to the server it will kick you and not explain why.

I'm not sure, but I haven't seen a "kick" feature for players yet. I know the game will automatically boot you if you are misbehaving (not playing the game or team killing lots, etc) but I don't think players can vote out other players unless I just haven't seen the option.

Unless I missed something the patch hasn't come out yet. You won't see those changes until next week sometime.

Well, I had thought about this a while back, and figured they can easily

[Show spoiler]create a new mutated breed of Helghast--stronger, larger, smarter, faster, etc from the survivors, who's bodies have adapted to the prolonged nuclear exposure. They don't have to become alien or anything, but story-wise an empty planet with no enemies would never stop a sci-fi story from continuing.

My PSN ID is ButtaCheez. KZ3 is the only game that seems to cause me problems. There are even times when I select FIND MATCH, it tells me I'm banned at the bottom, but when I try to find a match again, it lets me in.

Yep KZ3 has it's own profanity filter that gets applied to PSN names as well, and what your describing is exactly the symptoms to expect. The server won't ban you, it only kicks you out of the game you're in. It also doesn't kick you 100% of the time (it's seemingly random, could be anytime during the match or not at all even).
GG has put out a statement saying they will fix the filter in an upcoming patch but I don't remember seeing it listed as one of the fixes in the upcoming 1.04 patch (next week).

Why GG decided their game was special enough to have it's own filter above and beyond the PSN one is beyond me...especially in an M rated game where profanity is used regularly by the characters...

Phew! That's my time up for today and the end of my double XP voucher (it ends at 9 but I won't get on again today unfortunately). I ended up with 19 unlock points to use next time I'm online and a move into the top 50,000 which given the lack of regular play opportunities is probably the best it will ever be!!

Well, as if I didn't already know it, the Engineer is the class for me, with infiltrator a close second. Once I've completed those two I'll move onto the Medic.

I'm wondering if the ribbons only "count" in certain games types, I'm definitely getting them but only 4 out of the 5 show up on My Killzone.

Anyway, I may be on over the weekend, till then; annihilate the ISA scum!

Lol congratulations! I can't wait until 1.04, the medic desperately needs the boosts they're putting in. I'm using the medic as my main right now and I honestly feel like I'm barely contributing using that class especially compared to tactician (even though there are so many of them).
