I wouldn't skip any episodes of 1 & 2. It's true that it becomes more serialised in Season 3, but you really need the first 2 seasons to understand the relationship between the brothers (and the father).

The conversations, the arguments etc really do add to not just the relationships & chemistry with the characters, but also how the viewers relate to them.

If you really do enjoy this show, watching a handful of eps then jumping in to season 3 will not be the same ... and with the exception of maybe 1 episode per season, they're all fairly entertaining .

Groo is impatient though. He wants to skip fillers and get caught up as quickly as possible so he can move on to what he truly loves, prematurely canceled tv shows.
