My sources are directly at Anchor Bay/Starz Remember the slick gift sets Anchor Bay have done in the past, specifically the Masters of Horror skull set? Their packaging is the reason AMC partnered with them. They've had the B&W pilot ready from the get go, planned for a deluxe re-release of the first season. It MAY even have a limited comic (with the new stories/characters from the show) included.

Expect to hear more at Comic Con this year. To everyone saying that it wouldn't make sense, b/c they don't really do this with TV shows...this isn't a normal TV show This series has the potential (and is already well on the way) to becoming the best selling TV show on Blu-ray/DVD. With the passionate fanbase that The Walking Dead has, they're going to milk it as much as they can. But the quality of the sets will be top notch, both with content and packaging.
