Hollywood has done this in their BDs/DVDs where in for e.g. Gary Rydstorm for Terminator movies , the sound reordist for Seven etc have re-mixed the same original sountrack again without any additional data to make it sound better and appropriate on home video versions. This way, any minuses for the original mix also get corrected.
For KHNH, one such place is when SRK says 'Kaash main tumhari jagah Hota rohit' on the rooftop to Saif near the end. It is so obvious at this point that the sync sound mike did not capture the vocal properly and it needed re-dubbing in studio which was not done for original mix. When we are at a crucial scene with a crucial defining dialogue for the film, this can atleast be corrected in home video versions if not in theatrical versions. Esp Diyansh u and I shd recognise the fact that it was done by Sound designer of our mutually fav film Mohabbatein- Anuj Mathur himself.
I said we shd nt be expecting here because with the eg of DDLJ BD it is so obious that they really do a screw-up whenever someone remixes the audio. I will never forgive yashraj for committing that crime for DDLJ.

sir as far as i know the mixing of khnh was done by kuldeep sood and mohabbatein was by anup dev....i think its kuldeep sood to be blamed for this screw up.....and i would like to add there is one more such problem...the track MAHI VE.....i remember i used to demonstrate my car audio to people with that track it has that strong bass......really deep....but in the movie the song just lacks depth the bass is very weak to that it had in its audio CD ......i did'nt liked that thing about the mix also......
