I have used amazon marketplace but if you are selling it instead of doing a trade in then amazon takes a percentage of the price in commission. I forget how much it is but when you get up to the more expensive items, you can notice a difference in how much you will actually get back

Would you buy it if it had a commentary by Alain Resnais?

Really?
In the words of Sydney Falco, "Maybe I left my sense of humor in my other suit."

Here is an unboxing video of Criterion's Twitter "Box of Stuff" giveaway.

It's quite painful to watch.

Just wondering what has been other's experience with defective Criterion blu-ray discs? Over the past month I have had several discs refuse to load in two different players, even with updated firmware. The players try to spin them up, but they fail to load and I get an unknown disc or cannot play disc message. Of the three that have done this, I returned two and the replacements loaded and played easily. The third was last night and I am in the process of having it replaced also.

For the record, the three discs were: Still Walking (the one that would not load last night), Monterey Pop, and Ride With the Devil. Two were purchased from Borders and one from B&N. All were in undamaged cases and appeared perfectly packaged on their spindles. Just seems odd to have this happen with three discs in a month, considering all my other Criterion blu-rays have loaded fine.

so i am actually wondering what to do and you might laugh. I am debating about mikado on blu ray or the godzilla collection on dvd. No matter which I got it would be free after giftcards on amazon. Mikado would be 21.99 before the amazon giftcard and godzilla set would be 18.99 with free shipping

3. Criterion should go take that package back.

4. Was the "I don't have a blu-ray player" part, was that Solaris? She got Solaris before anybody and she complains? She could prob sell that (if it was Solaris, can't tell) right now for alot of money.

5. Chick just got a free OOP dvd she can re-sell (along with 20+ other movies she can re-sell) and she is talking crap about them. "I don't have a blu-ray!" "Godard, pretentious!". She got free crap and pretty much, while herself being pretentious, trashed all over them.

Hey everybody I just wanted to ask if anyone could help give me ideas for a project I'm starting for one of my library classes. My idea for the project is to start a vodcast that would sort of advertise different library resources. For my test pilot episode I want to talk about Criterion.

At the moment I'm trying to accumulate some ideas to represent the benefits of Criterion. So if you'd like to help me, please shoot me a PM to let me know. Later this week I'll send you a mini-questionnaire abou CC.

Thanks in advance.
