i would have liked that chrome to stay. would've looked better. I wish they could wrap mine with carbon fiber

With gold or chrome trim. I SOOO would have used this in the 40GB SKUs if I were Sony.

Yeah you can choose that option to keep it, but I didn't notice it until after it had shipped.

getting a white one with black trim for 80gb and a gold/sandy one with white trim for the 40gb.

i prefer the black ps3, white makes it look cheap. and black matches all my other stuff by the tv.

The White looks sharp....I may have to buy one when they come with the Dual-shock controllers.

I'd pay an extra $50/£50 for a PS3 with anodized aluminium casing. Delicious.
