Not an option. My oldest is a Freshman at U of L. My daughter is starting WKU next fall, and my 14 year-old wants to be a lawyer.

Awesome man! You must be so proud of your kids. I know I would be.

I didn't go to a private college so my dad ending up having extra money in the "college fund" after I graduated.

......I had no idea Gilbert Gotfried was the Aflac duck. I don't know how I missed it.

Also, I'm thinking of changing my major. But I'll lose so many credits. I really want to do something mangement related, but love engineering. Also, I love politics. Ah, why can't I be like my sis and just stick with ONE major my whole life?

Finish the engineering degree and then work for a company that would pay for an MBA,

Dude I changed my major about 8 times in college, no kidding. I came in pre-med or something like that, and by the time I was done I'd gone from sociology to anthropology to geology to broadcast news. Now I'm a lawyer. lol

(By the way, if I had to do it over again, I would've taken more history and business classes).

Take classes that interest you and see where that takes you.

...just had a customer say that she called to say that the customer had died and needs to cancel services. She was told she needed to send in a death certificate for verificaton and she replied "No, I only wish he was dead"

I swear I get the craziest customers working for Cocmast!

I just found out I am a getting a huge paycheck on Friday! Time to spend on DVDs and Blu-Rays on Friday!

Dude you were just broke like 2 days ago!

It's none of my business, but if you're that frequently broke, I recommend that you save some of your money. Don't blow it all on DVDs and BDs.

Starting to wonder if I’m going to turn my alarm off 1 day this week and not wake up in time for work!!

Monday: kids messed w/alarm, turned it down, didn’t hear it, woke up b/c of alarm on wife’s swimming watch.

Tuesday: alarm went off, someone changed the time, reset the alarm, woke up ½ an hour before I had to leave.

Wednesday (today): alarm went off @ 6:30, turned it off intending to get out of bed, fell back asleep, woken up by wife @ 7 after she got back from swimming.

Yeah, I am broke now but all the DVDs is on sale right now so I have to get it before the prices goes up and unfortanely, I will not be able to save money until I am caught up on all the DVDs but the good news that I am halfway caught up!

We at work still wonder how my deaf co-worker gets up in time to go to work every morning.

Yeah, I can't complain too much. They both were able to get a small amount of scholarship money, so that helps, and they're both going to take out student loans for at least 1-year's worth of costs, probably in their junior years. That way they'll have skin in the game, which truly does affect your attitude/outlook/drive in school (at least it did for me

).
