White Collar Season 2 - Blu-ray Forum

Season 1 looked awesome on blu ray. The 2nd season just ended, and I am hoping for a blu ray release. Anybody else want this?

I'm with you. Blu-ray release will probably come in June like last year.

Fox = Probably not being a word that should be used

If they do another one and done with this like they have done to a billion other shows I will not be shocked.

I disagree. Some people are concerned about White Collar not getting another Blu-ray release, but that's because of Burn Notice ... and the reason Burn Notice didn't continue to get released had nothing to do with FOX not wanting to do it.

Most Fox TV series have not even ended up on Blu-Ray at all but out of the ones that do only a few have ended up not being one and done with Fox saying TV series are not selling well enough on Blu-Ray to justify releasing them. True Blood Season 2 being the first Blu-Ray to knock Avatar out of the number one spot should have taught them something but probably didn't. Burn Notice, Lie to Me and How I Met Your Mother among the shows they did one season of and no more. Honestly I would say Fox Blu-Ray support all around is lacking but when it comes to TV series they are especially bad which sucks because they have so many shows under them and shows like How I Met Your Mother are not exactly small unkown shows that should be going back to DVD only. Shows like that under WB instead of Fox would keep going on Blu-Ray.

Don't get me wrong I to do want this show on Blu-Ray very much but I also wanted Lie to Me Season 2 and How I Met Your Mother Season 5 on Blu-Ray so I am just not going to get my hopes up for this.

Well, you were right. It is official, White Collar is not getting another Blu-ray release. This really sucks. It is such a stunning show to look at.
