The WMV limit is most annoying. Divx files are easy to split, but not wmv (takes way longer).

I would love to see a DVR add capability like the one in Europe and of course the PS3 being able to support all DTS and Dolby Digital codecs.

I really miss the autosave feature that I had on Sony DVD player. I was able to stop up to 6 DVDs and resume on that player, so I really want to be able to do that again because it is so much work to remember where I stopped watching a certain DVD or BD last time.

I would like the ability to send viruses written in HDi over the internet to HD DVD players. Now come on... that shouldn't be that hard to implement, since all those "finalized-spec" HD DVD players are connected to the net for no real reason.

Now, I don't want to cause massive harm... but a simple text ad extolling the virtues of Blu-ray that plays over the screen of their movie would be fun.

Some of the titles are starting to include bookmarking..I noticed it with Spiderman 3 .. although I didn't test across sessions .. and it's not every title. But if that becomes a standard on every disc it might be the solution.

The BD remote has dedicated colour buttons to use them.

Sony needs to add a "play all" option when playing streaming videos. Tired of having to manually start each one.

Oh yeah, please give us a PVR Sony!! And dts-hd ma. And some type of lossless audio support (flac etc)

I would also like to be able to control the PS3 through the PSP without having to turn on the TV. Not remote play, but the ability to select some music and have it play through the ps3 to my stereo, not stream to the psp.

Seems like War has it. I'm playing around with all the new 1.1 stuff right now (most of it sucks).

Yea Lost Season 3 has it as well. It is called season play. So if you decide to play a game DVD, or another blu-ray you can pop in LOST and click on season play and it will continue where you last left off.

If Sony gives me FLAC and DTS HD-MA, I'm set for eternity. Oh yeah, also the ability to play music from the HDD while playing games would be nice. Who the hell made it fashionable to have no music during multiplayer in FPSs? If I find the man, I will gut him.

I like the feature that the 360 has where I can chat with a buddy while in a game. Also, to be able to look up a players profile while in game. Also, ALL AUDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want the next PS3 update to include Dolby Digital +, Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD High Resolution, and DTS HD Master Audio over bitstream. Also Blu-ray Live support, since Saw IV is coming out soon. Have Blu-ray 1080i upscale to 1080p support (certain Blu-rays are in 1080i format). AIM, Yahoo IM, and Skype support with video chat capabilities, using the PS3 camera.
