When I went there was an elderly couple there and I have a feeling I saw some one in their early 20s too, so it's anything but a girls film.

Coming out of the cinema I was really amazed at how great it was and it's now my favourite film ever, so caan't wait to see the Blu-ray.

Yeah, I mean I've been watching Disney films since I was a kid, and some of my favourites are 'girly' ones, such as Sleeping Beauty, Snow White etc... So I've got no problems whatsoever, it was just my mates who looked at me like

I can't wait for the Blu-ray either, I'm feeling to import the 4 disc US version!

They should leave the Computer Animation to Pixar IMO

Sorry if you already have, but if you see Tangled I think you'll reconsider that view.

I don't mind either way as long as story remains the most important factor. I hope Disney don't abandon their routes but make the decision on what's best for the story. I haven't seen Tangled yet but I don't think it could have been achieved without computer animation. Most 2D animation had some CGI in it now anyways.

got it, love it, still think Disney CGI is second rate.

I'm comparing the general look to The Princess and the Frog and much prefer the 2D look of TPATF and believe Tangled would have looked just a good, if not better in Disney 2D style.

why not?
I can only see an issue with drawing all that hair. Everything else could have been done in a good, 2D Disney animation style IMO

but your correct, the story is the most important which is why Tangled being CGI isnt really that much of an issue with me. I just think Disney 2D is miles better than the full out CGI.

as for 2D using CGI in some scene's, thats how it should be used. Computers should be used to improve or enhance things on any medium i.e music, movie, graphically. Else it kinda seem's like cheating to me. The talent is filtered away a LOT when pc's are too heavily relied on
