You wouldn't be referring to BD exclusivity by any chance

Me too - I saw an OLED demo earlier today - Amazing!

Apparently they are having trouble making the screen any bigger than 27" though - the potential is awesome though.

Default No new movies announced

I was under the impression there were supposed to be many new titles announced for Q1 at CES. Each studio had their speech already and the Blu-ray conference happen. No new titles were announced. What gives? Are they still gonna announce titles before CES ends?

Obviously, the Warner--and related--news seems to have crowded out all other news or interest. But I agree with you, we might have expected a lot more movie release news.

Again, though, perhaps even the studios are scrambling to see how to feed this Big Blu monster with new titles. I mean, it's not as if we all aren't very selective about PQ and AQ, and we certainly do smack them when they don't do it right.

Maybe it is because of all the confusion in the wake of the WB decision - rumors are rampant, everyone's plans are subject to change at this point.

We may have to wait a couple days or more for the smoke to clear...
