Amir is a prick, period.
Hddigest has gone to the crapper even moreso than usual lately, review side and forum side.

I agree, I did like it over there, I never joined AVS, only here and HDD, but recently, HDD has become a HD-DVD nest. they post FUD, and then crap, just to wind people up. At very first, it did get to me, but now, I realise, how insecure they are. It's a shame about HDD, a real shame.

I disagree, I think it's split pretty even on High Def Digest.

I am sorry Spartan, but you must know for a fact, that HDD has become a haven for HD-DVD guys lately, why has HDNOW, and now Amir turned up all of a sudden, to spread their FUD, knowing that Warner could and may turn Blu. I am sorry my friend, but it's not 50/50.

I really don't put much stock into Amirm's posts anyways. To be honest, you tell me what high level "exec" has time to spend that much time posting on a forum. Being in the I.T field supporting high level exec's in a fortune 100 company, I can tell you they don't have that kind of time.

*this is a disclaimer* My thoughts are my own. They are not meant to offend or try and discredit. Just speaking my mind.

No way, the place is overflowing with Red fans... and then there is Josh Zyber and Peter Bracke, of whom I won't even get into.

I had over 7,500 posts on High Def Digest as "dobyblue" and then as "HD Guru" and I strongly disagree that it's evenly split.

It is a far more acceptable ratio that it was in October 2006 when I first started posting there, but it is still a very red-friendly site and the majority of the mods other than AV Integrated are former HD DVD-friendly posters too.

The owner of the site (Jed) is a very cool cat though.

Uh no not anymore. Do you remember all those great posts by HDNow (Mr. HD DVD petition himself) saying that a Blu-ray studio was going Neutral (total bullshit), and now Amir, rdjam and more. That site's forums bleed red now if I've ever seen it.

Isn't HDNOW RDJAM? LOL I always thought he was. Amir just came and he said he won't be on for long.

HDNOW and rdjam are the same person. They have moved their craziness to HDD forum only Amir is as bold to keep his name the same.

There will be no reason for him to use MS time to promulgate HD DVD propaganda once Warner goes BD exclusive...

He has a Blu-ray player... why does he have so much free time? He can watch all the great Blu-ray movies that are out there?

(Note: the ironic answer is that he's often posting from work. He's just been "moved" to a new position where he really has nothing to do.)

+1

I have to agree...I have noticed an influx of HD DVD supporters since the changes at AVS HDM Forum. It was good to see that early on, the HD DVD forum goers were brushing HDNOW (rdjam) off, but now all of a sudden Amir has popped up in the forum...I assume at the request of HDNOW to try and stir things up. That, IMO, is/has degraded the HDD forum for me.

Prepare to see the FUD being spread fairly thick...it has already started. Look at Amir's previous posts. In one post (on Michael Bay) he is trying to discredit Paidgeek. He initially says he respects him but then provides links trying to discredit him. http://forums.highdefdigest.com/show...526#post575526

Amir is a tool
