I support this suggestion!

I agree too. Perhaps a category drop down next to the Add button that defaults to Owned with other options listed (Ordered, Rented, Wishlist), then let the user add comments later?

I think "Last watched" looks/sounds better and is more grammatically correct.

This a great feature, I always update my watched dates! Thanks for adding it!

How do you not display Last Watched? I looked around, it's probably much more obvious than I think it is

I'd like to know this as well.

While I appreciate that some people like to be really detailed with their collection info, and it's nice that the people who run this site have done a lot of work to make that happen, there really should be a way to just "turn off" certain options.

Even though there are Blu-Rays in my collection that I haven't watched yet, I automatically mark them as watched as soon as I add them to my collection, primarily because if I don't, then they have that stupid "NEW" notation next to them forever, which I don't like. (For example, at the moment it shows my last watched as being "The Wedding Singer"... which I just received from Amazon, but I haven't actually watched it yet, I only marked it as such as such because I don't want to stupid "NEW" notation sitting next to it forever).

I just want to be able to list all of the movies in my collection, without the word "NEW" next to them (in all honesty, I wouldn't even mind the "NEW" if it only stayed there for a few days or a couple of weeks or something after adding it to my collection, and then were to automatically drop off, but that's not how it works. Just because I haven't watched something doesn't make it "NEW" if I've owned it for quite a while).

I really don't want to specify which movies I have or haven't watched, when I specifically last watched them, whether I watched the movie in one sitting or watched half one day and half another day, how many times I paused the movie to go take a piss, or anything like that.

I have no problems with there being options for these various details, but there should be some way to just turn them off. If people don't want to mark their collection as watched but also don't want the "NEW" perpetually appearing next to each movie, there should be an option for that. If someone DOES want to mark which movies they want, but don't want to specify the date, there should be an option for that. And if people want to get all specific when notating their collection, but don't want it to appear under their screen name in their posts in the forums, there should be an option for that.

Is there anyway to add a TV movie/special genre section instead of just having them count as a whole TV season? I only have 23 seasons on Blu-ray but on Blu-ray.com I have 27 as some of my TV specials/movies count as a whole season.

Thanks

Iceman, it seems like a bit of work to change the movie "Last Watched" in your collection. There's an "Add" button under movies before they go into your collection, perhaps you could make it so there's a "Watched" button under them once they're added to your collection. Would make it a bit less work to change the last watched movie. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Thank you for the new feature addition!

I enjoy having the 'Last Watched' feature under the user's avatar. This addition has actually inspired me to go back and remove all of my past 'Watched' titles so I can go through and date and organize when I have watched each title in my collection. Previously, I never really used the 'Watched'/'Not Watched' feature, but I like it, and this has inspired me to take that seriously, it may even help me decide what movies to watch in the future!

Can we add..............
[Show spoiler]Last Purchased BD? I know it's asking too much. Just had to throw it out there for the heck of it. Kind of like the current thread we have out there in the Blu-ray movie section.

It's not a bad idea, MaC! Would there be room though? The space under your avatar, for example, is pretty full!
