Pre-orders are now up at Play.com for the first two and the box set. No sign of the third film on its own yet.

Scream: http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/1...m/Product.html

Scream 2: http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/1...2/Product.html

Trilogy: http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/1...t/Product.html

Well, that's my Tron boxset out. Ordered, along with Tron 3D. No way £110 quid is coming out of my bank account on one day for Blu-rays.

I think I will go for it, just gutted that it is likely to be censored!

Woot! I was getting a bit worried that their no-show would be bad news for Pulp Fiction.

It's worth it :P I'm just so glad we got news of this and it's coming out in two and a half week so I'm extremely pleased, but surprised they'd leave it last minute too.

Have updated the first post with all the announced details and links to pre-order at Play.

£40 for 3 movies isn't bad at all, especially when they're going for £18 individually. Pulled the trigger on this one.

I'm not such a big fan of Play these days, but I've never pre-ordered a Blu-ray from them, are they good with shipping? I might just wait for Amazon to list it and then see their price, I usually get all my stuff from there or HMV.

Update: Speak of the devil, Amazon have just put it up for pre-order

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Scream-1-3-B...519862&sr=1-12

£37.49, I might be persuaded from them.

They generally ship on a Wednesday and arrive Friday/Saturday. But, I usually go with HMV as I've got student discount and pureHMV points. Amazon is the worst if you want stuff early. Fantasia/2000 shipped on Friday and only got here today!

I have a great track record for Amazon, I have Amazon Prime so stuff from there usually gets to me pretty quick. I bought Monster House on Monday dinner time, came Tuesday morning.

I also have discount on HMV, which is why I like going to them too. Usually a toss-up between Amazon and HMV for me, depending on which is cheapest.

£18 is pretty steep... I mean, most new movies are £15 at most these day, and catalogue titles should be less. Hmm.

Probably not. In the US, Anchor Bay have the home media rights to Scream 4. I'm not sure about the UK situation, but I wouldn't say a 4 movie box is certain at the moment, and even if it was, they'd just be packing these releases in the 4th one, so you're not missing out.

I don't think so. As you can see with pictures, it will just be the box with the 3 single movies inside, so when the 4th comes out, you can just separate the 3 films from the box and put it with 4. It also gives the option to people who will HATE Scream 4 and not want to acknowledge it, and they won't have to with the "Scream Trilogy", its the original trilogy anyway, as Scream 4 is supposed to start a new trilogy.

I am very much looking forward to Scream 4, by the way

hate to break it to you. But it also released by lionsgate. And look at the extras its the same as the US so the transfers is likely also the same. I hope i am wrong and they are better in the UK. But don't count on it

HMV have the individual ones up for £16.99 now and the Box set for £38.99. I'm going to wait as I'd be really shocked if they actually remained at such a high price.

Pre-ordered the box set!
