Never saw the point of the Digital Copies. Dont watch my movies that often, and if I do want to see these movies, it will be with BD quality on my LED TV, not some little ipod touch screen.
Only ever downloaded Star Trek - and that was just to see what it would be like; never saw it once all the way through. only ever played it to show naive family members who've never seen a movie on a hand held device before. couldnt care less about seeing it on my laptop either. have Watchmen, Up, Where The Wild Things Are, Kick Ass - infact, most of my collection comes with some daft downloadable copy and DVD I care little about. never bothered to download any of them. in the UK, every maintstream movie is now mainly only available on BD as part of a Triple Pack. bumping the prices up horrendously. I do not care for these extra formats - and just wish there was a second option avaible where the BD is available on its own - but sadly not. for instance - How To Train Your Dragon came out to buy around November time last year. Its only available as part of a "double pack", and its still full price even today!! equivalent to US$29.00. Will be importing the single BD version from the States soon. |
