Foo fighters are sony as well aren't they? anything from them would be great. Tool, Tom Petty, Metallica S & M, STP's. Anything that's loud and full of base.

How would any of The Doors old stuff clean up?

I just finished watching the David Gilmour concert. I have never refered to a concert being a beautiful masterpeice before, but this is the only way I can describe this performance. Great picture and amazing DD 5.1 true HD sound.
Highly recommend this one!

Agreed, if you get the chance check out Gilmour's In Concert DVD. It is a great performance and has great 2 channel stereo sound. I really hope he will get this released in Blu-ray as well. The entire first half of Shine On You Crazy Diamond performed on acoustic guitar is wonderful. It is a much smaller, intimate performance but only on DVD at the moment.

My member name says it all.....Rush is touring again in '08...what a great opportunity for them to be recorded in hidef and out on Blu-ray. To use a line from Moving Pictures album - "the focus is SHARP in the city...."

Someone should talk to Gene $immons. If he can make five bucks off a KISS blu-ray release they'll be 17 KISS discs in a week.

I'd like to see the Up In Smoke Tour on Blu-Ray, also the new Eminem Live NYC DVD re-released in Blu-Ray, and the concert DVD he put out after The Eminem Show was released.
